Embracing Our Roots
We are passionate about reconnecting children with nature, providing them with the opportunity to learn the invaluable skill of gardening. Together, let's sow the seeds of curiosity and watch them bloom into knowledge.
Join us in cultivating a greener future, one school project at a time. Let's dig deep, explore, and grow together.
♥️ "A Meal On Me” has fed 3,771 people through the cost of living crisis in Harlow. Free food parcels were delivered to the most vulnerable, with vegetables I have grown, plus any extras I add to make it last a good few days for the number of people in their home.
I am now bringing this initiative to primary schools, to teach our future adults how to grow their own food for the kitchen, to cook, to learn about the environment around them, and to learn how to work with nature to keep their allotments sustainable.
They can grow seedlings to sell at the school gate and raise their own funds for items they desperately need but for which they don't have the funding, such as arts and crafts.
It will encourage the entrepreneur in them, and it will stay there for future reference. We will transform unused land with everything they need to grow and get started. The wood we will use will last a good 15 years, so imagine how many children get to experience the craft of growing and entrepreneurship
